At a dance, the music plays over loudspeakers, as usual. The caller speaks into a microphone connected to a Landmark Audio transmitter. The dancers hear the calls through earbuds or a headset, connected to their own radio-receiver, while adjusting their own volume. Dancers who wear hearing aids may choose to use the neck loop; a "necklace" device that transmits sound from the radio-receiver directly to their hearing aid.

 

The calls are crisp and clear. Each dancer is able to hear well, at a comfortable volume.
